If you have an Ikea's Expedit shelf as a room divider, you may want to do something about some of the "backs". I love this idea from Seletti. You can do something similar using old lace curtains or crocheted pieces as a semi-transparent back. Do try this at home this summer.
More from TIne K: this time hand painted mini tangines. Cute. If you use them for salt or sugar, I guess a cork in the top, will help keep humidity out.
I love the relaxed feel in this Atlanta home. The grey walls, the soft colors, the natural materials, the artwork. I could move in any day. All pics from the Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles.
In my previous post I confessed (yet again) my love for all things celadon green. It is a special soft green, carefully balancing on the fine edge of being boring and banal or subtle and elegant.
Celadon Green was a rather common color in the 1930s, forties and fifties. Here in the shape of an old chair (from Modern50).
Who can resist linen? It may crease easily, but who cares? It just gets more beatiful with each wash. Pure Wabi Sabi. These lovely linens were photograped by Trine Thorsen, who else?
Yes, it is soo right. So now. Danish designer Tine K knows how to set the stage to show off her products.
The Tine K Home website now also has a web shop, where you can find these and other products for your summer house. I love the glasses. What's your pick?
Isn't it great? My new pillow by Nord? I won it a while ago over at the Me and Alice blog. And today it arrived. Lucky me!!
The buffalo pillow is my first item from the talented danish design duo behind by Nord - Hanne Berzant & Hanne Louise Roe Andersen. Their high quality, sustainable products are inspired by our Nordic flora and fauna. I love their design, where the rough and gentle meet. What is your pic? A wolf or a deer? A sheep? An Elk, perhaps?
