Wabi Sabi in Tel Aviv
There is something about this renovated old Tel Aviv apartment, that intrigues me. Here the architect has stripped the walls of all modern additions and revealed a vaulted stone ceiling that’s several hundred years old. Very Wabi Sabi.

You know how it is: you come across a picture online. It is without reference, and you are lost in space.
I have been a long time fan of this designer's work. I've seen pics of this chair, but I have not had any clue as to the name of the designer. Now I know!
The designer is Corean born, London based Soojin Kang.

Färginspiration: 2 nyanser av grått. Color it Grey
Grått fortsätter att vara en stark trend för kommande säsonger, långt in i 2013. Den djärve väljer den mörkt grå nyans ur NCS systemet, som har koden 7502-B. Det är en nästan svart färg med en dragning åt blått, vilket i viss belysning eller väderstreck, kan göra att man upplever fägen som kall.
Oavsett inredningsstil, så är det mörkgrått som gäller.

En egen favoritkulör är nyansen 1500-N, dvs en neutral vitgrå nyans utan någon kulör (varken gult, rött, blått, eller grönt) tillsatt. En bra basfärg, som varken är för ljus eller för mörk, och anpassningsbar till all annan färg på möbler och mattor, som man kan tänkas ha i sitt rum. DIY bord. Reclaimed Wabi Sabi table/desk

I just love this table from Restoration hardware, made out of reclaimed material. They've paired an antique elm door with an cast metal frame. The result is just perfect!
The welded, riveted solid steel frame stands on caster wheels and is supported by structural cross bracing. The tabletop is planed, sanded and left unfinished, with its natural patina. The surface may have cracks and holes from its previous life as an antique elm door. The tabletop may also cup or bow slightly over time, further enhancing the table's rustic one-of-a-kind character.
